Tasked with creating cabinetry for a historic home, House Beautiful Magazine enlisted O'Brien Harris to bring the cabinetry portion of McCroskey Interiors' vision to life. Auxiliary spaces were designed off the existing kitchen to include a stylish walk-up bar and lounge, breakfast nook, walk-in pantry and a second island for prep. Brass and glass shelving keeps this pantry area light and bright.

McCroskey Interiors combined two rooms on either side of the original kitchen. They opened it into a single expansive space for entertaining and hosting guests while maintaining its European charm. Inspired by the distinctive Gothic art in the kitchen windows, McCroskey dreamed up an exquisite hood wall made entirely of cast stone that is a focal point in the main area. Sliding panels at the oven wall conceal smart storage.

Our top-tier cabinetry boasts walnut lining and smooth, elegant accents. The cabinetry color beautifully complements the deep green hues of the marble. It echoes the octagon shapes found in the brass push plates.
